My husband and I had our first baby in March, and despite warnings from family and friends, we thought we were ready. Couldn't have been more wrong. Fortunately, we hired a Postpartum Doula to help ease our transition to parenthood and had a wonderful experience. The doula helped inventory our current supplies and then fill in the gaps. She would also prepare meals, help with breast feeding, and watch the baby so I could sleep! It was INCREDIBLE!! Definitely the best money we've ever spent!
